Eskalyan Yule & Feast

Please join the Their Excellencies of Eskalya and their jolly populace once more
to help us celebrate the winter season with feasting, fighting, and contests.
Then event will be held at the First Congregational Church at 2610 E. Northern
Lights Blvd Anchorage, AK 99508-4119.
It is a tall church on the south side of the road between the
intersection of UAA Drive and Lake Otis by Wendler School.
The event will be held in the downstairs of the building and using the
lower parking lot for both the list field (temperature permitting) and parking.
Feast reservations due by December 1st.

Best dressed table in the theme of English with an emphasis on green boughs
and candles and apples, oranges as the decoration.
Eskalyan A&S Champion Greetings!
As the wheel of the year turns, I am happy to announce the contest for the
next Baronial Arts and Sciences Champion. This year I ask you to look to
yourself for your inspiration and create three items that would have been
known to your persona. Don’t have a persona? Don’t worry! Just pick three
items from a single time and place and go wild! Items can be anything,
including: A poem or song (either written yourself or a period piece
performed by you!), A pouch, Garb, A belt, A token, A dance, A calligraphy
sample, A beverage, Food, A philosophical treatise, The possibilities are
endless! Brief documentation is requested, it need not be more than a
paragraph. Being the Arts and
Sciences Champion is a fun, low stress way to serve the Barony. If you’re
interested, bring your three items to Eskalya's Yule and go for glory!

Extra points for documentation, a Yule theme, or a tie in with either of the
other contests.
$15.00 Site Fee, Discounts and sponsorships happily available for willing
volunteers - Please contact autocrat for more information.

non-Members. Please make checks

Site opens at 1pm, lunch available at 1:30pm, fighting to start at 2pm
(temperature permitting), feast 5pm, and Site closes 8pm.
